Encouragement for Busy Mommies and Housewives

As a busy mommy and housewife, I struggle with control.  I want everything to run like a well-oiled machine.  This desire that I have to be in control comes with a high price…rather than take joy in my God-given work and responsibilities, I become enslaved to them.

Striving for perfection almost comes across as an admirable quality.  But it is not an admirable quality; it is a sinful desire to control everything, quickly leading to fear when that control is threatened.

Anyone else been in this boat before?
