My List for the Top 5 Homeschooling Blogs

My List for the Top 5 Homeschooling Blogs

The internet is a wonderful tool for gathering information.  But it’s so incredibly big and infiltrated with nonsense, that it can be overwhelming.  For the longest time, I knew there was a treasure trove of homeschooling information and tips to be found out there, but where to find it?

After much painstaking searching, I have finally gathered my own little arsenal of favorite homeschooling blogs.  I have spent the better part of a year combing through various blogs all claiming to offer some sort of advice or encouragement about homeschooling.  I tossed out many, as they didn’t quite match up to what I was looking for.

So allow me to cut short your own tedious journey across that ridiculously wide internet.  Here are my five favorite homeschooling blogs (in no particular order), all written by mommies:

GuiltFreeHomeschooling.org

This blog is chock full of ideas and tips!  If you need a quick game or activity to fill some time in your homeschooling day, I highly recommend this site.

A godly young Mommy offers so much encouragement when it comes to mothering and homeschooling!  This is not a “homeschooling” blog the way the previous two are.  I go to this site when I need a reminder on why I’m doing what I’m doing.  She also recommends some great resources and curriculums.

MomsMustardSeeds.com

Another young Mommy offers all sorts of great homeschooling information.  Recommended seminars, resources, curriculums, games and activities…there is so much to look at on this pretty blog!

HomeschoolChicks.com

I love this blog because it is written by former teachers, by new Mommies, and by and seasoned Mommies who have already been through the homeschooling gauntlet.  They all love Jesus and love to teach others how to teach their children!

This blog is my favorite when it comes to copying someone else’s ideas.  The author of this wonderful blog is so kind as to share, even to the most minute detail, her daily homeschooling routine.

I hope you enjoy this list and exploring some of my favorite go-to blogs!  I have pulled so many fun homeschooling ideas and encouraging reminders from these various sites.  Blogs like these remind and encourage me that there are Mommies all over our country who love Jesus and love their children…we are not in this alone!  🙂

Hi, my name is Lauren. I am the wife of one fine man and the momma of four (huge) young children – three boys and one princess! I love all of them. I mostly clean up messes and feed people all day, and it’s really fun to write about it. Jesus is the rock of my family – we love and serve a mighty King! I hope you leave here full of hope that “tired” can be good.
